As Senior Art Director on Dove’s "Close-Up Challenge" campaign featuring Jennie Garth and Dancing with the Stars, I led the creative and digital efforts to position the VisibleCare line as the way for women to get "spotlight ready".
I led conceptual and visual web and digital experiences that encouraged real women to submit their videos for a celebrity-style close-up experience. From 1,500 entrants, winner Kristi Herman was selected for a week of professional dance training with pro Damian Whitewood and confidence coaching from Jennie Garth.In my role, I led the rich media efforts and directed both Jennie Garth and our winner, Kristi, on set to capture the photography and footage used across all digital content. My direction focused on the journey from "towel to spotlight," ensuring a seamless visual transition as they prepared for the big stage. The campaign culminated in a nationally televised TV spot during the Dancing with the Stars season finale on May 23, 2011, where Kristi performed a Cha-cha-cha and showcased her "visibly more beautiful skin."
